The location was great! Using the shortcut, it's an easy 5-7 minute walk to the base. After a day on the mountain with ski boots on...probably more like 12-15 minutes. We never used the base shuttle as it was so convenient to just walk. The market at the corner was a great spot for gelato and an easy dinner one night.
The condo was very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed. We did not cook any meals there, but it seemed to have a great supply of kitchen tools and utensils. The fireplace was nice on the colder days. Overall, the condo was a great size for our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens).
I do have to say that the master bed was very uncomfortable. It was extremely firm (and I like firm beds) and made a lot of noise when moving around. I don't think I slept more than 4-5 hours every night that we were there (and I went to bed by 9:30pm every night). Additionally, the couch was even more uncomfortable. Our family of four would fight over who got to sit in the chairs because no one wanted to sit on the couch. It looks like it would be a great place to sink into at the end of a long day, but it's not. It's hard as a rock. If not for those two pieces of furniture, I probably would have given 5 stars. Although we were thankful for the hot tub and pool towels, they were a little skimpy as well. I would definitely stay here again if the bed and couch were different, but I would hesitate slightly if I knew they were going to be the same.
